Founder and Chef, Jose Miura has been serving high quality street food interpretations of classic dishes from the island of Puerto Rico and daring into new adventures creating private dinners, and three course menu dinner experiences for those seeking a more formal ambience.

The Ricans Food has been a staple point for local celebrities seeking the authentic taste of the island, and is currently rated #1 Puerto Rican food in Los Angeles on Yelp. Our Mofongo is vegan friendly

Green plantain as the main ingredient. Skin is peeled off, cut, then fried to perfection. Transferred into a mortar to get mashed with a secret blend of garlic, oil and spices until soft. It is molded and served hot with our special vegetable based vegan salsa criolla and more secret garlic mojo. Select your choice of proteins such as pork “carne frita”, guava chicken, sweet plantain aioli steak or our signature vegan protein “jackfruit guisado”.
